This continues exploring the relationship  between sculpture and design. Barbara Hepworth’s Oval  sculpture from 1943 was the inspiration, The stone only allowed one internal plane. By sparing paint the piece moved from the realm of sculpture and art to that of card design , alluding to fenders, grills, and aerofoils. It becomes part of the Ferrari world.
