Using the theme of Brancusi’s Kiss where one sculpture is divided into two figures, I here took one block and carved two forms. They are back to back but the original stone block is intact. The form originated in my erythrocyte series, the fluid amoeba red blood cells. A soft collapsing shape is rendered in hard marble.
