My series Experiment in Colour started with my love of HiFi equipment and in particular the Bowes & Wilkinson Pod speakers. In the series I was exploring colour ad form, and it felt similar to the process design and industry goes through to come up with a prototype. As I was inspired by a speaker design it e logical to make a marble speaker and amplifier. They both work, but remain prototypes.
