Commissioned for the re-developed Victoria Square Plaza in Woking, Stack is made up of 6 marble units . It is inspired by the early learning  toys for children where hoops are placed over wooden pegs. Very simple in design and concept the sculpture was very difficult to engineer and assemble. There is a play between imagination and execution. It also references the history of stacked sculptures from Brancusi’s Endless column, Donald Judd’s steel boxes, to Jeff Koons stacked animals.
